What SABR Means
SABR means patience.
But in Islam, it’s more than just patience. Scholars of the Holy Qu’ran explain patience involves restraint of the self, perseverance in Allah (swt)’s obedience and steadfastness under trial; it's not merely enduring discomfort silently. It is a deep inner discipline rooted in Faith and Trust in Allah (swt)’s wisdom.
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱسۡتَعِينُواْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
“O you who believe! In moments of distress, seek help through patience and prayers. Surely, Allah is with the patient ones.”
Holy Qu’ran, Surah Al-Baqara (2:153)
When Imam Ali (as) was asked about faith (iman), he replied:
“The structure of faith is supported by four pillars: Patience (Sabr), Conviction (yaqin), Justice (adl) and Struggle (jihad). Then he explained further: ‘Patience comprises of four attributes: Eagerness, fear, piety and anticipation (of death). So, whoever is eager for Paradise will ignore evil temptations; whoever fears the fire of Hell will abstain from sins; whoever practices piety will easily bear the difficulties and hardships of the life of this world and whoever anticipates death will hasten to perform good deeds.’”

That word has always meant something to us. That’s why we built the brand around it.
Why We Started SABR
We didn’t start SABR to build just another clothing brand.
We wanted to create something that reflected faith in a real way. Something honest. Something that carried meaning every time you wore it.
Clothing moves with you through life. It speaks before you do. We wanted our designs to reflect identity, belief, and intention.
Faith comes first here. Everything else follows.
Why Water Wells
When we thought about making an impact, we wanted to changes lives in a way everyone could take part in. The gift of water stood out to us immediately. As Allah (swt) reminds us in the Holy Qu’ran:
…وَجَعَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلۡمَآءِ كُلَّ شَيۡءٍ…
“...And We made from water every living thing…”

Providing water is one of the most powerful acts of charity in Islam. It’s simple, yet it transforms everything. Clean water nourishes families, protects health, dignity, and daily life.
That’s why SABR funds water wells.
