In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
“Those who spend their wealth by night and by day, secretly and openly, for them is their reward with their Lord, and they shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve.”
The Holy Qu’ran (Surah Al Baqarah 2:274)
Salaamu Alaykum,
Last year, our 40 Day Campaign took us to the holy city of Karbala to support the Imam Sajjad Centre. Alhamdulilah, we were able to provide essential food and supplies to assist the widows and orphans residing there.
But this year felt different.
This year wasn’t just about meeting immediate needs. It was about building stability.
In collaboration with The Hope Source, we returned with a larger mission. Focussed not only on relief but on sustainability.
Reflecting on our journey, we realised something: impact should grow. If Allaw (swt) increases us, we must increase in service.

Thanks to your generous contributions we were able to provide the centre’s residents with a wide range of essentials including: food supplies (rice, tea, powdered milk, pasta, salt, tomato paste, meat and flour), household essentials (home cleaning products, washers, air conditioners) comfort (clothes, shoes, toys for children) health support (essential medication).
This wasn’t just a delivery of goods. It was stability inside homes that have already endured loss.

Karbala carries a deep spiritual weight for us. It reminds us of sacrifice, loyalty and responsibility. When you gave, you weren’t just funding a campaign. You improved the quality of life for widows and orphans.
And that’s what matters.
Last year we provided essentials. This year we strengthened foundations.
This is what sustainable impact looks like. You made that happen.

With Allah (swt)’s permission, we will continue walking this path. There is more to do. And together we will make an impact.
May Allah (swt) accept from you. It is your sincerity and sacrifice that helps make this world better.
With thanks and continued prayers,
The SABR Team
